ASTRA2Connect New triple play service for the residential market The new ASTRA2Connect product enables ISPs, telecommunications operators and other service providers to offer end-users a stand-alone, two-way broadband internet access service via the ASTRA Satellite System. In addition to high-speed internet connectivity, ASTRA2Connect can deliver services such as Voice-over-IP (VoIP) (1) services, Content-on-Demand and TV/HDTV (1). Key benefits ASTRA2Connect is ideal for ISPs wishing to offer internet and telephony to end-users who lack access to terrestrial high-speed connectivity networks such as ADSL or CATV. ASTRA2Connect is particularly beneficial in areas where there are limited broadband service offerings from other access infrastructure providers.
